Time runs short for us. Tonight we drive to Dayton to stay with the parents of our friends, the B's. Because the B's love us and their parents feel sorry for us having to wake up really early with little kids. It's nice that people like us, cause we've pulled out quite a few favors for Friday's travelling.
Another for instance is that we'll get to spend a good part of the day Friday with my aunt and uncle, N & S, in Denver. We have a 7-hour layover, which ends up being really nice cause we never would have been able to see N & S if we hadn't been in Denver for so long. Turns out to be a nice chance for our kids to get to know some family that they don't get to see very often. And if we hadn't been so desperate as to pull out favors that we normally wouldn't ask for, we wouldn't have had this opportunity.
We're excited to almost be in Utah. It's the two days before travelling that I hate the most. I'd back out of almost any trip the day before it starts. Cause it's such a hassle to get prepared. But this time it's not quite as stressful cause Rob's coming home by himself. So I don't care so much if the house isn't spotless. He'll have 2 weeks to clean it before I get home. :)
The best way to reach us for the next week or so while we're in Utah is to call our cell phone.
We'll probably check e-mail off and on, so feel free to send us an e-mail, too.
We'll be staying at A's house on Friday night. Some time Saturday we will make our way to Grandma Thacker's house and we'll be staying there for the rest of our Utah stay.
On Thursday the 11th we'll be going to California. Again, the best way to reach us there is our cell phone. We'll be at my parents' house most of the time, so you could call their number, too.
Rob will be bringing the cell phone home with him on the 16th, cause there are no shortage of phones capable of calling long-distance at my parents' house, but at our house in Ohio, our cell phone is the only one.
Hope everyone had a good holiday and is enjoying getting back to normal. We love you all!
Tamra and family
