I've decided that the problem with more of my world becoming digital is that it looks like I do less.
For instance, Rob came home the other day and he never quite asks, but you can tell he has that question: "So, what did you DO today?" With motherhood, often I feel the answer to that is, "Just about nothing." That's what I have to show for my day. But this one day, I had spent probably 5 hours organizing, labeling, editing, cropping, etc. the digital photos and videos I took at the wedding. So when he came home the house wasn't very clean, dinner wasn't made, etc. And what did I have to show for my work? NOTHING PHYSICAL. Sure, I could show him a page or two on the computer where I had all the photos stored. But that still only takes, what, 20 seconds to view? So impressive.
And that's the problem with digital.
