This particular night, Teancom started crying and cried for a little while. Maybe 10 minutes or more. Then he stopped and we patted ourselves on the back for waiting and teaching him to cry it out and all that.
As we were shutting down for the night, Rob said, "Tamra, come see this." And I walked in the boys' room to see this:
What a precious sight.
(Remember they sleep in bunk beds, so Teancom had to climb up the ladder to get in bed with Elijah.)
The flash from the camera disturbed Teancom (who is the world's lightest sleeper), so we got out of the room quickly. Moments later I heard a pattering of feet, but didn't think much of it. After a little while, though, I thought that it was probably Teancom, returning to bed. So I walked back in the room to find Teancom back in his own bed, fast asleep, covered by a blanket.
I returned to my own bed and mentioned it to Rob. I just can't help but wonder how many times this has happened without us knowing anything about it.
