Recipe

For those who want to try the chili from the previous post, the recipe is here.

It's seriously good.  Very robust.  The spiciness has a lot of nuance, which makes sense when you look at the ingredients list.

Our adjustments:  apple juice instead of beer (on-line I read that you could switch it out for several things, including white grape juice.  We didn't have any of that, so I used apple juice instead).  And we added 2 cans of kidney beans for the last hour of simmering.  The recipe doesn't call for beans, so it's essentially just a fancy meat sauce.
