What a Snow Storm!

This snow storm is COOL! Rob stayed home from school today because the roads and the weather haven't been good. We got some snow and then came the ice and rain. So there's a nice layer of snow and then on top of that a layer of ice. It makes it sloshy and wet and crunchy and cool! The trees are covered in ice, the wires are hanging to the ground (okay, not quite). Our power went out for about an hour. My mom couldn't fly home out of Dayton. Her flight got cancelled and she can't get out of Dayton or anywhere until Friday (this was written on a Tuesday)! Okay, craziness!

So, what did I do? I took pictures! There is ice encasing people's car antennas. That's cool! I took a picture of a wood fence with icicles all along it. I took a picture of our light post outside. You can see the ice, and if you look close, you can see about a quarter inch (or more) of ice ALL AROUND it. I thought it was just ice hanging off the bottom, but no. It's encasing it. The gap between the pole and the wood part that hangs down with the numbers on it, it's almost solid ice. And the icicles are haning about 6 inches off it. Awesome!

I think this is the coolest storm ever. I thought you who live in nice warm places would like to see the pictures.
