I have a bunch of pictures to post. Some of them are up to a month old. For me, this is horribly behind. So let me repent by posting them now, in a series of blog posts.

Teancom's Blanket
I made a blanket for Teancom. One of those flannel ones. 2 pieces, tie them together around the edges. ... Teancom is growing out of his baby blankets, and needed a bigger blanket. My mother had made the other 2 kids a flannel blanket, so I made one for Teancom to match. (Somehow the idea that the blanket costs MONEY had eluded me. I got the fabric half off and it still was a $35 blanket. I have since apologized to my mother for being such a grubby, ungrateful daughter.)
Since I am not crafty, I had to take a picture of it. As proof.
There it is, the red and blue one on the bed. ... We made it a family project, and it was fun. Also fun:
Elijah created this lovely decoration out of the scraps. Yes, in the middle of our doorway. We had to take it down after half a day, because it was so low that even I had to duck underneath it. And that gets annoying pretty quick.
Nap Time
Teancom is fighting nap time. Perpetually. He loves to lay down and be chill, though. Seriously, it's a little weird. He wants to be near me, but he wants to lay down, too. So he'll get out his blanket and sometimes his pillow, too, and he'll carefully lay it down right next to me and lay down on the floor. Then, if you move the blanket, or even touch it, he'll yell at you, cause it's his blanket and don't touch it! So occasionally he'll fall asleep on it, and that's a happy day.
This is him in the middle of the living room, blanket underneath him and pillow behind him:
Garden Picture
The garden is no longer growing. Go figure, since it's nearly November. This is what the marigolds in the backyard looked like in late September:
They were huge! And pretty. Look at those colors pop in the post-rain atmosphere. Lovely.

That's funny about Teancom. Wyatt is fighting naps right now too. Fun times.
