Crackers and a Movie

Before I move on to posting about our hugely fun Memorial Day weekend, I wanted to document a lovely recurring family event.  I'll describe the one from this morning, as it is very much like every other time.  (To be noted:  Elijah and Miciah were both at school, so it was just Tank and me.)

Tank:  Start the movie again, Mom.
Me:  No.
Tank groans loudly and thrashes around on the floor.
Me:  You've watched enough TV, Tank.
Tank:  Well, get me some crackers, then.
Me:  Okay, but you have to eat them at the table.
Tank:  NOOO!  Start the movie and then eat the crackers!
Me:  No.  I already said no movie.
Tank continues to whine and thrash around on the floor, but doesn't say anything for several minutes.  Then...
Tank:  Fine!  I won't do anything, then!
Tank walks to his room.

Half an hour later I realize he's gone and find him like this:

Totally asleep.
I bring the crackers to the computer desk and eat half the box while typing up a blog post.

If you're not going to get any food with your movie, you might as well go to sleep. Those are some sweet jammies, btw.
