Face Painting Follow-up
So you remember Miciah got a butterfly painted on her face in Pittsburgh, and it was disappointing, and I suggested that my Aunt Corene paint her face once we got home? If you want a refresher on what the original face paintings were, click here and scroll down a bit.
Well, here's Corene's butterfly:
Pretty sweet, right?
Here's Corene's version of a koala bear:
Better by light years.
And finally, Corene's version of a dragon:
Tank kept it on for several days. Finally, it faded on its own, and Corene came over to the house after it was off, and Tank apologized for the dragon being gone. That made me chuckle.
All the kids sporting Corene's work:
(Random insert: A woman just called me. She mis-dialed the number she meant to call. This is the second time in my life when a random stranger has said, after mis-dialing, "Well, I'll just talk to you, then." Really? I learned that she think it's "kinda cool" to call strangers even though she's never done it before, that she's on disability, and that she feels her $80 a week income is too much because "otherwise I drink and call strangers." That's when I told her I had to go now.)
Pink Eye
Elijah had pink eye a few weeks ago:
He looked great, right? ... Happily, it passed without incident, and none of the other kids got it. That's a first!
And here's Tank's eye today:
I'm laughing on the inside, of course, because that looks like the beginning stages of pink eye. (We've wiped away goop twice today.) ... Oh well. I guess you never get off that easy.
And beautiful pictures of my kids that Key West Friend took over the weekend. I want to post all the pictures she took, but that's a little bit of overkill, even for me (and I have a high tolerance level). Here's 3 that I'm thinking about framing and putting up on my wall:

Just so you know, I have quite a few other pictures of your kids that I'm planning on putting in a separate album on smugmug for you.
Also, hilarious that you used a nickname for me, since I don't on my blog, just for other people.
I thought you'd appreciate the nickname, Jules. I don't normally nickname anyone. That was a special gesture, because I love you. And I knew it'd make you laugh.
Awesome koala. Teancom looks so grown up in that pic where he's looking through the fence.
Love the pics of the kids. Miciah is striking in green with the trees in the background. Very pretty!
Yeah, the all green looks really nice. Which is kinda funny, cause the greens she chose for her clothes don't really match. But with the green background, it worked out.
