Notice what wasn't on my Awesome list? The World Cup final.
One of the semi-final games was really fun to watch. The other wasn't, but that was okay, because the final was still to come, and the World Cup final is the awesomest of the awesomeness, right? And then, after all the build-up, it was a lousy game.
Plus, Spain won, and I was rooting for Holland.
Blah.

After watching the final in its entirety, I think I know a way for that game to have been 118 minutes shorter. At least it didn't go to a shoot out, that would have been even less anticlimactic.
Every time I left the room, Sarah would shout, "They just scored! I can't believe it." I'd run back only to see it was still 0-0.
Ha! Sarah found a way to make the game exciting! We should have watched it at your house. :) Plan on it in four years, friends.
