Opinions Needed, Please

For years we've been using an uber-lame snowman advent calendar that my Mom bought for $1 on clearance.  I'm not complaining; the kids have loved it.  But it's time to move on.  Seriously.

(Note:  If you would like to be the proud owner of an uber-lame snowman advent calendar, let me know.  This beauty could be yours!)

I looked around on-line at the offerings and I've picked out two that I would be equally happy with.  Tell me what you like!:

Magnet Advent Tins:

Fun, right?  She has other countdowns available, too.  Those tops are removable - so I could switch out for birthday countdowns, first day of school count downs, etc.  Not sure I'd ever want to, but there it is.

Wall Hanging Advent:

Simple, fun, not cheesy.  Check.

What do you think?  Opinions needed.

I vote magnets -- definitely coolest.

While the magnets are cool, you can also lose them super easy. Or misplace one or all. Keeping the advent fam together and connected might be helpful in the long run.

Magnets, because if you get tired of it in the future you can re-purpose the magnets somewhere else in your house.

I almost lean magnets, because they are fun, but my hesitation would be that there are a lot of parts involved and I can envision a scenario in which one lid is missing and it's super annoying. With the wall hanging one it's all always there, and that would be nice.
