I need to admit something, guys: I have failed at my Lent resolve. I am so lazy!
Here's the upside, though. School isn't making me lose my mind. How can it? I only have a month left! Here's the downside to that: School is an afterthought. "Oh, I have an assignment due? I have to do well on it? Okay, well, do I have to TRY? How's about I half-try and we'll call it good."
The problem / not-really-a-problem-at-all is that this approach is totally working for me. I am getting A's in all my classes (with the possible exception of Practicum, but I don't mind that).
So this semester I've been having fun reading some books - 4 at one time, actually, though I don't know why I'm doing that. Focusing on our budget and Dave Ramsey stuff - we're teaching that class and having a blast with it. (More excitement on that front coming soon.) Focusing on my kids - getting some help for Elijah (did I tell you that he got glasses? He's SO CUTE with his glasses), reading books with Teancom, in general loving on all of them. And I've been winning the sanity war - shoving in as much down time as possible. Cooking. Cleaning. Exercising. Enjoying.
Life is so, so good.
But I'm still lazy. Sorry, Lent.
