Almost two years ago now we decided to start doing some serious home renovations. The garage was used for extra storage space to make all that possible. Boxes and boxes and boxes of our stuff. Just like moving, but we didn't get a new house out of it.
And my friends, the garage is FINALLY back to the state it was in before this all started! The last contractor left our basement around this time in 2014. Only took us a year to figure out what to do with all those boxes! Mainly I'd been lacking the emotional energy. Maybe I don't say it enough, but I'm chronically lazy.
Still, despite my lameness, I'd like to say that It Is Finished! And it feels good.
Moving on to the garden projects, and building a club house for the kids out of scrap lumber that I'm not sure why we have so much of anyway. Fun stuff ahead!
