Non-Christmas Pictures

Teancom and Elijah in the brothers picture. Teancom's hugging Elijah tight around the neck. They're best buds.

I have a lot of pictures that I haven't posted from the last month plus. Here they are. (Christmas pictures will be coming soon.)

This is just a picture of Elijah's outfit for the day. He's in a sweatshirt that's about 3 sizes too big, in pajama pants that are 2 sizes too small (we just handed them down to Teancom last week), with shorts over top. I think it's hilarious what he comes up with to wear!
I've been trying to get Elijah's "thinking face" in a picture. This isn't 100% on, since he's posing it, but it's close enough.

Elijah likes to gather things from around the house and put them in a pile. This vaguely annoys me, but whatever. On this day he created what he called a "little office." He had to climb over Miciah's reindeer to get into it. Then I guess he had the essentials: crayons, paper, a book to read, and animal crackers. I looked at his little office and said, "That's a REALLY little office." He looked up at me, beaming, and said, "Thanks, Mom."

This is a series of 4 pictures. I combed Elijah's hair to the side for church and he was so handsome. He was NOT happy about it, though. I told him I wanted to take his picture and he deeply objected.

He wanted his hair to be spiky! Here he is threatening to make his hair spiky.I told him it was fine to spike his hair, and here he is making it spiky. Afterwards he still sat there being very grumpy, like the whole process had traumatized him.
The rest are all from Thanksgiving day.
Teancom looking sad. A rare look for him, which is probably why I take a disproportionate number of pictures of him looking sad.

Teancom, less grumpy now. Teancom does a lot of growling at people these days. It's not because he's mad at them, though. It's because he's being a lion or a tiger or a monster or a dinosaur. This is him roaring like a lion. Often if I growl back at him he'll say, "No, you not a wion. You a tiger!"

Teancom in a random profile shot.

Miciah in a slightly fuzzy shot. She poses for pictures now and loves to do this exaggerated happy face with ultra-wide eyes. So this one was a welcome change. I think she's quite pretty in it.

Miciah showing off her lack of front teeth. Actually, you can just barely see one of them. What an adorable smile. She is no longer embarresed by her lack of teeth, and when someone says something about her missing teeth, she will show them all of the gaps from the teeth she's lost (8 of them, counting the 2 that have been pulled).

All the kids riding on B's back. He was a good sport, and the kids loved it.

Elijah looking cute.

Elijah, how he normally poses for pictures.

Miciah and Elijah with Uncle A. He's always a kid favorite.

The end.
