Artwork catch-up

And I'm scanning in artwork today. It's actually a fun process, and the result is that I get to seriously de-clutter my life.

Some keepers from the last few months include...

This Father's Day card from Elijah:
It's Daddy's job to kill spiders (not that Mommy WON'T do it, Daddy's just "better" at it). So I thought it was very thoughtful that Elijah invented a machine that would help Daddy out.

This wonderful piece that Elijah calls "a fianco":
Rob was the recipient of a lot of artwork while we were away. Some of my favorites were this flag from Elijah:
(He had me write "Can we be in a tent soon?" on the back.)

And this card from Miciah:
The front says "To: Daddy Because he is the sweetest Dad That I have ever had! From: Miciah T. Comment - I love you becase you are the sweetest guy that I have ever Met! I Love you Vary much! Love, Miciah T."
And this is the inside:
This family portrait:

My favorite part is that he said "I don't know how to draw hair or clothes or anything, so they're naked." (And if you're wondering why the family portrait has 6 people in it, the extra person is, no, not Dea, but Nicholas, my cousin's son.)

This last one isn't artwork, but it cracked me up, so I had to share. We picked up an "Adventure Journal" from Subway on one of our long days of driving. Miciah actually had a really great time with it (thank you, Subway), writing down things she saw and places she went. Anyways, after we got to Utah I cleaned out the van and found this piece of paper from the Adventure Journal:

If you can't read it, it says:
"To Day - July 11
Lost Jurnel
... - July 11 lost pen"
