Volunteering at the Library

I volunteer at my kids' school library.  I go once a month, and I've only been twice.  Today was the second time.

But I have learned through my volunteering efforts that I have a hidden talent for shelving books.  Apparently I'm one of the fastest shelvers they have.

Actually, I love shelving books.  My OCD comes out pretty strongly while I'm walking around the library.  You know, "What is THIS?  A book out of place?  What monster would do such a thing?  I will rescue this book from its hellish position and put it back in its rightful place."

Another thing I've learned:
3rd graders are crazy about this book called Wimpy Kid.  Specifically, the yellow book:

Diary of a Wimpy Kid:  Dog Days  by Jeff Kinney

And my respect points for the librarian went up about 100 points when she said that she also hates the Magic Treehouse series.  Yes!!!  Validation from a librarian!
