SnowDay by Miciah Thacker

Miciah wrote this for a school assignment, and I thought it was worth sharing.  All spelling and punctuation is hers.

SnowDay by Miciah Thacker

It was Tuesday.  When I woke up, I looked outside and saw that the ground was covered in snow and it looked about 1 foot deep.  I ran upstairs and dad said, "Miciah, It's a snowday."  I was so excided that I ran into my brothers' room and woke up my brothers.  "It's a snowday!" I yelled.  "What?" asked Elijah.  "IT'S A SNOWDAY!" I yelled at him.  Elijah jumped out of bed and said, "Yay!"  As he got his snow suit on, I ran to my room and got on mine.  Then, I ran outside the same time as my brothers.  Then dad walked out.  "Yay!  Dad is going to play!" we yelled.  Next, I ran over to our neighbors and asked if they wanted to play.  They said yes and in a few minuets, they were outside.

When they were out, we built an igloo with a hole in the top.  Then we had a snowball fight, kids agenst my dad.  Next, we made a snowman.  We named him Bob.  Then, when dad wasn't looking, we tackled him and buried him.  When we were fineshed, we were all cold and tierd and dicided to go inside.  It was 4:00!  Dad made us hot chocolote.  We had dinner as a family and then went to bed.

...

Rob's a good daddy, no?

And, just because misspellings are fun, you should check this out:
Dot Dot Dot
Wait for it to load and then hit play.

Trust me through the first 30 seconds.  You'll love it.  You'll be saying "beacuase" to yourself for the rest of the day, just so you can giggle.
