The Great Thackeroni

(You can't tell in this picture, but the bow tie and cummerbund are TOTALLY hideous.)
Rob dreams of being a very good amateur magician.  He hasn't accomplished that yet, but he has now accomplished being a very good BAD amateur magician.  Here's his performance at the Ward Talent Show last night.  The video is just over 10 minutes long.  It's his entire performance.  And it's awesome.

Some clarifications on the card tricks.  They didn't come across well on camera, and honestly he'll have to perfect them for an audience because I think half of the people missed the joke at first.  So:  The first deck of cards he uses is a trick deck.  All the cards are blank.  The second trick with the 4 cards, 1 of them was from a completely different deck.  3 of the cards have a purple back and 1 has a red back.  Same with the last trick.  One of the cards is the red card and all the others are purple.

I told Rob that apparently his talent is comedy.  And he's clearly a bit of a showman.  Some of us (meaning me) aren't good at stuff like that.

Also, Rob is available for birthday parties!  Serious.  He says he'll do a show for a piece of cake.

I heard ALL ABOUT the "Great Thackeroni" when my older kids got home. They loved it! I was surprised to find I could get in on the fun here. Rob is great... especially love the accent! It's hysterical!
