Reason #41 Why Elijah is a Sweetie

I was putting Elijah to bed earlier this week when he said, "Mom! I know something cool we can do for Daddy tomorrow!" "What?" I said. With excitement in his eyes he continued, "We can fix his car!" I thought for a minute about what car he was talking about. Then I knew what he meant. Rob has a remote controlled truck that got broken a year ago or so. Finally, a few weeks ago, Rob ordered the replacement part, but he still hadn't fixed it.

I asked Elijah, "You mean Daddy's remote controlled truck?" He answered, "Yeah!" I smiled at him and thought about how excited he was to surprise Daddy by fixing his truck. I told Elijah that I didn't know how to fix it, but that I'd talk to Daddy about it.

I told Rob about Elijah's excitement over the good idea. Rob smiled and said, "How about I fix the truck tonight."

So Rob fixed the truck and they're going to drive it tonight when Rob gets home.
