Soccer Game!

Last Friday Rob surprised me with a fantastic date. First, that he planned the date and managed to keep it a secret was amazing. We could have stopped it right there and it would have been great.

Started with taking the boys to the Children's Museum mid-day. They thought it was great, and I read my book the whole time. It was fun for everyone.

Then we came home and he speed-cleaned the house for an hour, since I hadn't cleaned anything all week. Seriously, the house was a mess.

He took me on a hike at a local park, on a trail I've wanted to check out since we moved here. He also took me to the hike which he thought would be best to check out the spring flowers. It was cute and quiet and lovely (and how cute is Rob, wanting to show me the spring flowers). We went out to eat at Applebee's (someone gave us a gift card as a thank you) and they had tilapia, so I was happy (tilapia may be the world's most perfect fish, if not the most perfect meat period).

And to top things off wonderfully, he came to see my soccer game. (The end of the night was what you saw in the videos I posted in the last blog post, so truly the entire night was amazingly fabulously dream-come-true-ish.) I asked him to take pictures, and he came back with these, and I thought I'd share the best of them.

I kept this one, cause if you look really close (like, if you blow it up to a 40 x 40 print), you can tell that I'm smiling. Probably joking with the other team. And it highlights my chicken legs. Seriously, when did my legs get so skinny?
