I don't have much time, so I'll get to the point (novel idea, eh?): Miciah has a new cast.
For a few days she'd been complaining that her cast was loose, but she couldn't pull her arm out of it or anything, so we just let it be. Then, yesterday, she came upstairs saying that she'd twisted her elbow inside the cast and that it had hurt. Okay, time to call the doctor.
So we took her in and she got her cast removed and a new cast put on. It's amazing how much smaller her arm is than the last time we saw it, when it was more than double its normal size. Her arm looked good, the incisions looked good, everything was good. Her cast is much smaller, and she's happy about that, cause it means that she can wear more shirts (getting the cast through the sleeve is the tricky part, but we've been able to use many of her shirts up to this point. Now we can use even more). Plus, they hooked her up with all the cool things that they can do with casts in the clinic but that they couldn't do during surgery. Check it out:
