Today we've been doing chores. Cleaning up after a weekend of camping and headaches (seriously, the migraine was out of control). Buying stuff that we need. Mowing the lawn. Boring stuff.
Dinner for two:
Not once did I have to say, "I don't care that you don't like it, and how do you even know that you don't like it if you've never tried it before?"
Though this brings up a good point. While I don't mind skipping some of the kid stuff, some of the rest of it is pretty great. Who's going to randomly tickle attack Rob? Who's going to say "Mommy!" and give me hugs? Who's going to write notes like this:
I told Elijah that when I was missing him, I was going to ask Rob to run around the living room really fast so that I'd have to say, "Rob, where do we run circles? Yep, in the basement, your room, or outside. Please go one of those places."
