Pictures

I have not been taking very many pictures lately.  Just haven't been in the mood, I guess.  Still, here are a few.

A few days ago I came home and saw this:
Yeah, those are brooms sticking into the snow.  Rob and I asked him about it.  Turns out that it's Elijah's artistic interpretation of this picture:
If you're Mormon, you'll recognize that as the famous Samuel the Lamanite picture.  Pretty awesome.

And this is the boys building a block tower.  Elijah would stack up blocks, hold them in place, and then tell me to take a picture.  I told him I wouldn't take the picture until the block tower was standing on its own.  So he built one:
We rotate toys from upstairs, to downstairs, to the garage where they wait to be brought in again as "new" toys.  The blocks have just been brought in and have gotten some good use.

Oh, you might be interested in my friend's system for toy cycling (and keeping toys picked up): http://blog.havingsufficient.com/2010/02/toy-cycling.html

Toy cycling has got to be the best idea since ... the last best idea. Whenever our toy room gets out of control, we just rotate the toys. I don't know why it's true that kids just dump out toys, but it drives me crazy! They tend to do it less when the toys are new, and where there's less of them.

Oh, and I'm liking your friends ideas. It's the blog you talked about earlier, on your blog, right? I think I would like this friend.
