She brought home her Weekly Vocabulary Study Booklet which, this week, was for Nutik, the Wolf Pup by Jean Craighead George. It lists a word and then you have to write a sentence including that word. This is what she chose to write about:
beloved
sentence: In the summer, I will see my beloved uncle Collin.
glanced
sentence: I quickly glanced at the cupcakes he bought.
gleamed
sentence: I gleamed with joy when I last saw him!
noble
sentence: My uncle Collin is very noble.
promised
sentence: I promised him I would hug him.
wiggled
sentence: I wiggled out of his arms once.
Loved the cupcake one. Apparently you better have cupcakes when we see you next, Collin! And yes, I'll be sending the Weekly Vocabulary Study Booklet to you.
