Art Help

We are in the process of updating our home.  Claiming it as ours, really.  For years we weren't sure if we would be moving, so we didn't do much to it (except update the kitchen because that space drove us crazy).  Now we're doing things like, you know, painting the living room, since it should have been painted the day we moved in.  And changing the door knocker so it doesn't say "Rack" any more.  Replacing those outdoor light fixtures that I hate and that pole that was in need of replacing from day one.

We're midway through painting the living room.  I'm doing it on my own during the day, so it's slow going.  I've painted one wall, the door, half of the ceiling, and parts of 2 more walls.  And we did something that I LOVE.  We installed this bookshelf:

Billy Bookcase, from ikea.  Funny that 6 months ago I would curse at ikea and now I've learned to love it.  I thought, "We need a corner bookshelf to fit in a small space.  Who would have that?  Oh!  Ikea would."  Sure enough, they did, and I love it.  The bookcase commands the room and gives it some charm.

But re-doing the room has also left this wall space available:

Filling that space previously was an 8 x 10 picture of Christ and 3 other religious things of about the same size.  Don't get me wrong, I love those things, and it's a great message.  But this wall space is just screaming for a nice large art print.  And here's where I need your help.  I need suggestions for a great piece of art to go on my now-empty wall.  I'm game for nearly anything, from a religious picture, to a Monet or Van Gogh, to something modernistic and funky.

Space is limited to about a 45 x 45 inch square.  And we have light yellow curtains that will most likely be going back up.  But those can be changed/excluded if need be.

(Sidenote:  Rob wants to put back what was there before, but he has just been outvoted 1 - 1, with more weight given to my 1.)
