September 4, 2000 – BYU Women’s Soccer Game
At Ward Prayer the night before I had talked to a group of girls (who just happened to be Rob’s FHE sisters) about wanting to go see a BYU Soccer Game. So happened there was a game on Monday, which I believe was Labor Day and we had school off. We determined to go. I also (or maybe they did, I dunno) invited Rob to go. He wasn’t super excited about it, but he went along. Rob’s a nice guy like that. I don’t think he would have told me or anyone else no ever. In fact, I knew this. There was another time that I went to a concert with Lorelie. I had a date, but Lorelie couldn’t find one. I ended up asking Rob if he would go with Lorelie because I knew he would say yes. I had fun with my date (who was married a month later to a girl he had met over the weekend), but wanted to be with Rob instead. I think I worked it that night to sit next to Rob as well as my own date.
Anyways, after the BYU Women’s Soccer Game we decided to walk down to Brick Oven and eat. Rob went and I think he ended up paying for everyone there, and it was like three or four girls. I don’t know what compelled him to pay. Probably that same I’m a good guy sense he has. Rob is a gentleman.
